The Medical Assistant Accelerated Pathway to Employment Training (MAAPET) project is a full-time program that consists of: 8 hrs. per day, 8am to 5pm, Monday - Friday for 10 weeks of classroom and lab instruction, in addition trainees will be expected to study and complete at least 10 hrs. of homework outside of this time frame. Classroom training is followed by 4 weeks of full time clinical / practicum training. For a total of 14 weeks of training, upon completion, trainees must sit for and pass the National Health Association Certified Clinical Medical Assistant exam. You will only be considered for this program if you are able to attend the entire 14 week session.

The MAAPET program is funded in part or in whole by Employ Milwaukee's Department of Labor Nursing Expansion Grant. All applicants must meet grant eligibility requirements in order to be considered for this program.
